Becoming a mom for the first time is kind of like being told you are the new CEO of a company in an industry that you´ve like heard a lot about but you don´t actually have no experience in and they´re just kind of like - here is the product.

help it grow. cultivate it. make sure it thrives. make sure this company is a success.

You´re really not going to want to mess up this job because it´s the most important job you´re ever gonna have your whole life, but also keep doing all your other jobs. Don´t stop doing any of that other work - do it all.

Oh. No vacation time or paycheck either. And you´re kind - wow that is overwhelming. I guess I am just going to have to like figure it out as I go though because I can´t quit and there certaintly isn´t anyone I can *fu.... talk to in HR around here. I am just going to have to lean in....
